If you are not attending the ceremony, you may rent your academic regalia from Serangoon Broadway the following month after the ceremony i.e from 5 November 2022.
Protecting the health, safety and well-being of our students, faculty, staff and guests remains the University's top priority. Vaccination Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS) will be implemented to ensure the health and safety of all participants.
A) Things to take note before ceremony day
Ensure that you have:

B) Vaccination status
Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS) are applicable for Convocation 2022. All attendees must be fully vaccinated OR have recovered from COVID-19 within the past 180 days of the event date OR have been certified to be medically ineligible for all vaccines under the National Vaccination Programme.
Verification of vaccination status is based on the TraceTogether app, HealthHub or TraceTogether token only. As part of VDS, all attendees are required to check-in with their TraceTogether App or token before entering the Grand Hall. Only attendees with the following statuses on their TraceTogether app or token will be allowed into the Hall:
Graduates and guests who are not feeling well must not attend the ceremony. We seek everyone’s cooperation to exercise social responsibility and follow the appropriate health protocols should you feel unwell, including resting at home or visiting your primary care physicians if you need any medical attention.
In line with the government’s announcement on 24 August 2022, mask wearing will be optional for Convocation 2022, an indoor event to be held from 5 – 7 October 2022.
There will be no handshakes or other forms of physical contact on-stage during the presentation of graduates.
SUSS has the rights to reject any individuals who fails to comply the safe management measures.
C) SafeEntry check-in using TraceTogether token or TraceTogether app
All attendees must perform SafeEntry check-in using TraceTogether token or TraceTogether app before they are allowed entry into the event area.
Graduates and their guests are to install and set up TraceTogether App in each individual’s handphone in advance. Alternatively, the TraceTogether Token can be used for entry into the event area.
TraceTogether Tokens can be collected at designated locations as listed by the Singapore authorities. Please refer to https://token.gowhere.gov.sg/ for the designated locations.
Children aged 6 – 12 years old are not subject to Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS). However, if you intend to bring your child(ren) aged 6 – 12 years old, you are strongly encouraged to get him/her vaccinated (if medically eligible) as the focus is to ensure that children are well protected by vaccination. Children below the age of 6 are not allowed into the Hall.
Please note that children aged 13 years and above are subjected to the same VDS as adults.
You may be asked to provide proof-of-age for the child(ren), which can be in the form of birth certificate, passport, or other official identification document with their date of birth stated.
If a graduate or his/her guest is feeling unwell, please take an ART test. If tested positive for COVID-19, please take note that the person/s will not be allowed to attend the Convocation.

The in-person Convocation Ceremonies will proceed only if it is safe to do so, and in compliance with the prevailing COVID-19 public health measures and Government regulations.
For graduates attending the Convocation ceremony, collection of certificates will be at the registration counter on the actual day.
For graduates not attending the ceremony, there will be NO certificate collections during the physical Convocation 2022 Ceremony planned from 5 - 7 October 2022.
The collection dates are from 26 October to 14 November 2022 at the Student Service counter located at Block C, Level 1. The opening hours are from 830am to 530pm (Monday to Friday).Please look out for more information from firstname.lastname@example.org, Student Portal and Student Services Telegram Channel (@StudentServicesSUSS) at a later date regarding collection of certificates for non-attendees.
